Hello LSYC friends and family! With apologies to the Beach Boys, this email is titled after the WINNER of the 43rd annual Governor’s Cup Regatta! But before I get to the winners I want to acknowledge all of you who raced, helped out and attended the party- thank you to all! That was a really fun weekend, even though my Jezibel took a solid 8th place!
If you have pictures to share, please please please post them to the club’s Instagram account- (@lake stockton yacht club) and/or the Facebook page.
Thank you to all who donated- we raised money toward a committee boat, the Red Cross Hurricane Relief fund, and the Boy Scouts! The LSYC is a generous group!!
Please remember to show love to the companies that helped us out this year: Lake Stockton Boat Works, Bongo’s Bistro, and The Venue at Cabins at Stockton Lake!
Also please put some serious thought into how you (yes, YOU) can help out on the LSYC Board of Directors next year- we need new blood- especially (but not limited to) Rear Commodore (Race Chair) and Social Chair.
