Finally, a return to “normal” conditions for summer time pursuit start, cruise/race sailing. This coming Saturday, July 29th, will be a return to the normal starting times which are posted on the bulletin boards and online at the usual places. No light air drifting predicted with a 10-15 MPH south wind returning across the 7 mile course. After race activities will be found at the marinas where a choice can be made to either plug in and sit under the AC or combine that with a float-in-the-moat behind the boats.

Evening activity doesn’t start until sundown. As the sun sets at 8:30, the 20 foot movie screen will be set up at E-park for movie night. The LSYC leftover table will be set with munchies and the beer and water coolers filled with the remains of the previous events for this year.
