1. You will become a MUCH better racer if you know and understand the rules.
2. The club needs to maintain a sustainable racing program, and the more folks that can run a race, the better.

Sailing & racing since 1964, Tom has sailed, raced and officiated in several classes, in many lake and ocean regattas.
Boat types included M Scow, E Scow, Omega, O’Day 23, Catalinas 22, 25, 30, 36 and 40, Capri 25 & 26, C&C 28 & 50, OD30, Beneteau 38 & 42, J22, J24, J30, J80, Dufour 44, French Mirage, Melges 24 plus several other classes.
Highlights as skipper, were 10 years racing in NOOD Regattas in San Diego & Annapolis, 11 years with Capri 25 at the Denver Yacht Club, and 11 years on an Ultimate 20, at the DSA
