GUMBO CUP, on October 22 The Lake Stockton Yacht Club and the Stockton Single-hand Sailing Society (you know who you are) will host the 11th annual Gumbo Cup Single-Hand race.

“Spirit of the race”

This race was started as a contest amongst boats normally crewed by 3-5 people so as to provide a challenge I hope it can continue to be an annual event.

Cruising commanders Tom and Teresa Schroder will set a 10 mile course and provide start times for all boats. Race start time and course info will be provided here later. Gumbo and ham sandwiches will be served about 430-5. Rick
