If you’re new to sailing and want to find out more, this is the day for you! LSYC is holding an open house at Orleans Trail Marina where we will have a meet and greet, followed by boat tours. After this, there will be several options for anyone to go for a sail on one of LSYC member boats. After this, we’ll meet for a Sun Downer and reflect on the day. If you have any questions on sailing, we’ll be there to answer them.

• • 11:00  – Grab a marina map and meet some of the LSYC members – Shark Park at Orleans Trail Marina
  • 11:00 – 3:00 – Tour docks and Open House of members boats. (Map will detail boats open for tour)
  • 2:00 – ? – Sail with one of LSYC members on their boat.
  • 6:00 – 8:00 – Meet up at E-Park for Q&A and Sundowners

The Summer Series has become a favorite of many LSYC members, and allows everyone to get out and have some fun in the Cruise Race event. This is a Pursuit Start-  start times for your boat will be posted on the bulletin boards located around Orleans Trail Marina and State Park Marina. This is the second of six Cruising races that are open to everyone. There will be a overall winner in several categories at the end of this series.
